My Photography
I know I'm still schooling and have a lot to learn. But I have to say I'm very happy with the results I've gotten so far. I made a small photo gallery of just the flower shots I have taken so I could share them. The reason it has taken me so long to share these is because I've wanted to make sure all my legal bases were covered. Each photo is embedded with my information, as well as containing a visible watermark. This should be enough to cover my rear if anyone tries to steal my work. (Sure of myself.. ain't I? LOL )
So here you have it, my first gallery. I'll be posting links to other galleries as I get them uploaded.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on these!

They are FABULOUS!! Seriously professional looking. Are these in your yard?
wonderfull!!! Those look like professional photos!!
I especially like the one that's black & white except the daisy!
Hi LC Band-It and Cindy! Thanks for the comments! I'm glad you like them!
The tulip pictures were taken in my yard, right after a light rain. Most of the rest were taken during a hike near some property my parents own.
I really liked your pictures. I especially liked that one yellow one that has a background of black and white, and some of the tulips that have water on them and are arranged so that they are more at an angle instead of straight up and down. I was very moved.
I like to use a black backdrop behind my flowers. It makes them really stand out. I got some cheap black fabric at the store.
What kind of camera are you using? I have a couple of digital Pentax SLR's. I have a very old Vivitar telephoto macro lens that I specifically use for flowers.
Thanks Oceans!
These pictures were all taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 (6 mega pixels). I also have a Minolta SLR 3000i, but it's not digital so I don't use it often. I'm saving my pennies for a Canon 5D (yeah.. I'll be saving for a looooong time. LOL)
Beautiful! I especially like this one http://www.tractstothetruth.com/photography/flowergallery/content/DSC00598_large.html so vivid! Such clarity. Lovely!
Thanks PJ!
I really appreciate everyone's comments. It gives me the courage to keep trying and persue my dream of being a professional photographer. :0)
