Camera Update
I just got off the phone with Sony. I have to ship my camera off to Connecticut for repairs. I'll probably be without it for about 3-4 weeks. :0( I'm less than happy about that.

Oh Amy!!! Bummer! Can't anyone local do a camera repair like that? We have a shop around here that does things like that and it didn't take that long!
Is it time to buy a second back-up camera yet? When mine broke, that is what I did! ;-) It is always a great idea to have a back-up camera!
I so wish I could have just taken the camera to someone local, but Sony will only pay for the repairs at one of their authorized service areas. I'm amazed they don't have one here in St. Louis. I'm sending if off today and praying I can get it back asap.
I would dearly love to buy another camera, but I don't have the money. I have my minolta 35 mm, but my ability to adjust the settings is pretty limited so I don't like using it as much. My husband has a little Nikon point and shoot that he uses for work. I may just have to borrow it until I get mine back.
My Mom also has a Canon Rebel EOS that she offered to loan me when I needed it. It's an awesome camera, but she may need it since she's doing the schooling too.
Ah well, it will work out.
