Tuesday Oct. 16th

This week will be really busy for me. We have several things going on, on top of all the daily stuff we have to do. I don't know if I'll be posting again this week or not, so I thought I take advantage of the few spare minutes I have right now. :0)

I decided that I have to get back into my exercise routine. I've been so busy that I haven't been doing anything in regards to physical activity. So I sat down and scheduled out my day, including 30 minutes on the treadmill. I may have to tweak and adjust the times as I go, but at least this is a start.

I hopped on the treadmill a while ago and burned 150 calories in about 30 minutes. Not bad considering I haven't really done any exercise in a long time.

My breakfast today was an EAS low-carb shake and I had string cheese for a snack. I'll get today's plan put into fitday and share it with you later. I'm trying to watch my eating very carefully.

I got a new scale yesterday because my old one is on the fritz. I didn't buy all the bells and whistles this time. Now that I know the body fat analyzer can be so far off (as much as 40%!!) it's not worth the extra money to me. I just bought a $20 Health-O-Meter. It does have a cool feature of remembering what your last weight was and telling you how much you've lost or gained. Not that I couldn't figure that out on my own.. but it's cool nonetheless.

DH has a job interview on Friday. We are praying this is the one. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Guess that's all the news for now. I'll try to check back in later. Have a great one!

It is certainly funny how our brains can come up with so many things we want to get done when we are ready to jump on the treadmill (or have my quite time). I take a pencil and paper with me so I can jot down things and still take care of priorities.

I agree Suz. I can easily find something else to occupy time I should be using for myself, such as exercise. It's like they say about kids. If you wait until you can afford them, you'll never have 'em. Same with exercise - If you wait until you have time, it'll never happen. :0)

Thanks for visiting me!
