Things Change

And boy are things changing around here. It's why I haven't really been able to blog this week. My wonderful husband is finally getting out of a job he really didn't like anymore. He had expected to stay until May 2nd, but after giving notice they told him he could consider April 25th his last day. So we are spending our time sorting out company stuff from personal stuff and getting everything ready to return to the company tomorrow. Thank the Lord his new employer told him he could go ahead and start Monday. I don't know what the gaps in pay periods, nor the pay differences, will bring, so I'm trying to batten down the hatches and be prepared. It might be tough for a bit, but we'll survive. We always do. The important thing is that my husband will be happy again, and we'll have him home every night after work. We haven't had that since he started being a sales rep over 3 years ago. If you have your family with you everyday, don't take that for granted. Hug them and count your blessings!

I've also been working hard trying to finish up the home school year and I'm starting to get some photography work, so I'm preparing for that as well. (The timing of these new photo projects are perfect and have to be God ordained.)

Well, again I have lots to do before the weekend. We leave tomorrow to drop off the aforementioned company items (which includes a truck), pick up items from his new company (which thankfully includes a car) and then spend the weekend in St. Louis where I am shooting a Karate Tournament.

On the weight loss front, I'm doing pretty well. The scale starting moving in the right direction again. I'm just going to keep at it and go with the flow. :0)

If I don't get back here before I leave, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
