I owe, I owe.. so I work too much
Hey gang. Things here have just been nuts, as seems to be the norm lately. I'm back trying to find that balance again. You probably remember the balance between life, work, family and myself time that I talk about here and there. I feel like I'm on a teeter-totter right now. I can't seem to keep the thing level!
Anyway, to help with rising costs of living, etc. I've taken a part time job. Thankfully it's with a company right next door to my house, so no commute or anything. And I'm right there if the kids need me. My oldest is at the age he can be in charge by for a couple of hours a day, so that helps. Grandma or Dad will be around during those times.
So now I'm working part time next door, working from home on my examiner column, working in photography when the opportunity arises, and home schooling my children. Then there is daily stuff, like laundry, housework, etc. And I'm still trying to maintain this blog and help out in other areas.
So my point is, life is a never-ending cycle of bills and I'm chasing my tail here. ;-) No, actually my point is that I haven't forgotten you all and I'm doing my best not to neglect the blog. But it might happen from time to time, and I apologize for that. So please forgive me if my posts are occasionally a link to my examiner column and a quick hello, or an update and nothing much else. Hopefully things will settle down again soon and I'll have my schedule all figured out.
The good news is that I've made sure I take care of myself though all this. First thing in the morning I've been getting on the treadmill - it's been a good start to my day. I feel so much better afterward. I'm also back to carefully watching my food intake, which I repeatedly seem to get sloppy with. So maybe all this work with a combination of my diligence will get things moving again.
Ok... off to work I go.

Wowzers, Amy! (((HUGS)))
Thanks Jennifer. The hug helped! :) (((HUGS))) back to ya!
Boy can I identify! I don't home school but with the cookbook writing and publishing, The Examiner, other freelance writing, the blogging, household chores, and so many animals I find myself doing weird things like the treadmill during prime time tv, laundry at 10 pm, litter boxes at 11 pm, and writing in my sleep! At least with Bruno gone 8 hours a day I can get a full days work in writing for real too. I'm not keeping up too well with reading my favorite blogs though. :(
Take good care of yourself! Your in my prayers.
