Your prayers are requested

For those of you that believe in prayer, I would appreciate your praying for me. A very serious health problem I've dealt with in the past has crept back up. Some of you that have known me a long time will remember a scare I had with breast cancer about 3 years ago. I had a biopsy and thankfully it was only something called ductal hyperplasia. While that's not ideal, it's certainly better than the C word. I had the duct removed when they did the biopsy. I was told that my risk for breast cancer was now 20% higher and that the next 10 years are critical.

So I'm doing my daily exam today when I notice I'm having the same problem I did 3 years ago. I called my case worker with IBCCP, who instantly started setting things up for a consultation with a breast specialist/surgeon. So now I see the surgeon on Nov. 5th. Where things will go from there, I don't know. I do know that we are obviously concerned and as a family could use your prayers. Waiting is almost as hard as the diagnosis sometimes.

Thank you dear friends, old and new, for your prayers. I'll keep you updated and keep up the faith. I'm eating healthy and that can only help at this point! :)
