What did you do with your Labor Day?
We decided to just relax. We did go fishing early in the morning. And my hubby snagged this beauty:
(Hubby has a mouthfull of sunflower seeds, so ignore the "I'm getting ready to spit seeds" look he has on his face.)
It weighed around 6 lbs. Hubby was one happy camper and my kids were jumping up and down. They'd never seen anyone catch a fish that big. We took it home and made catfish fillets.

It was fun! Afterward my kids were wanting to bottom fish like daddy did. Forget the corks! LOL I did a little bottom fishing as well, but all I caught was a little turtle, and thankfully we were able to unhook him and put him back without any damage done. :)
