More Photos from the Gary Taubes Talk in November
I never did get around to sharing the rest of the photos I took from the talk Gary Taubes gave in November. So here are few more for you. Enjoy. Or ignore. Your choice. :)

Don't say it! I'm not that kinda girl!
Anyhoo.. just wanted to let you know that there are still a few days left for voting in the Wellsphere People's Health Blogger Awards. I probably don't have a snowball's chance in hades, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention anyhow.
If you'd like to vote for me, here's an easy button to help:

I just spent two great days in Columbia, MO with some of the most amazing people. I had the privileged of spending time with Regina and Gil Wilshire, Gary Taubes, Dana Carpender and many others that I'd never had the honor of meeting before. It was so much fun and I absolutely enjoyed Gary's talk about the cause of obesity. I was silently cheering the whole time!
I made some new friends (Hi David!!) as well as finally got to meet some people I've known online for a good while. I'm telling you, low-carbers are some of the best people in the world. Don't let anyone tell you different.
Here's a shot of Gary Taubes and I. (I'm cracking up because he is SO much taller than me and decided to squat down so we would be on an even level.)
I may have more pictures to share later and talk more about what I've learned this week. It is fascinating stuff! Got a huge day ahead of me, so I'll try to check in when I can. Have a great weekend!

Hey Everyone. I thought I'd give you a quick note about a new blog I started for my photography. I wanted an area where I could just talk about what I'm doing or learning, new things I've tried, etc. I know I need another blog about like I need a hole in the head, but I didn't want to crowd this blog with too much non-low-carb stuff. And since I'm just as passionate about photography as I am low-carb, I know I could fill a lot of space here on the subject.
So if you'd like to keep up with what I'm doing in the photo world, you can visit me at
http://amydunganphotography.blogspot.com.
I don't know how often I'll update, but I will when I have the time and something worth sharing. And if I have something particularly exciting to share, I may post it here anyway. ;)
Ok... off to search for some low-carb news.

I was browsing around CarbSmart when I stumbled across this link. It's an interview Julie Westly did with me in 2003. I had forgotten all about it! I reached my goal shortly thereafter and maintained for a few short months. *sigh* I'll be there again soon.
